Rainy May 2022
More rain? Never happen! This month’s update is relatively brief with more rain on the horizon.
Range Design & Construction
After a rain-free month in April, the weather was back with a vengeance. Weather Station Zebra recorded a rainfall rate of 66mm/hour before the satellite link dropped offline.
Roadways
The ongoing works on the roads have paid off with access in most areas remaining safe for our 2WD testing vehicle (only requiring to be towed out once). The photos below were taken on the 19th of May so will give you an idea of how wet it is still onsite.
500M Range
The majority of the works this month before the rainfall was on the 500M range with the Range Cat building up a 600mm pad on the eastern-end of the range. This will serve as the shooting position for the 500M range and will ultimately have a concrete slab on top.

Equipment & materials
The gents from Precision Rimfire Australia have been kind enough to share designs for NRL & PRS target frames that will become part of the furniture at Dunmore Range.
Once the rain abates then we will be able to show these in action.
